Georgi Fogel graduated from the Technical University in Riga, Latvia, in 1972 with an engineering degree (Dipl. Ing.) with a concentration in Applied System Analysis. He specialized in human organization modeling, and later continued his work in water supply system modeling. From 1984 to 1989, as a member of the Institute of Geography in Moscow, his primary focus was on past climate modeling, resulting in several publications. Since 1989 he has lived in Germany working as a software engineer in several projects, including ZBLM, JURIS, “Wer liefert was”, and others.
In 1993, Mr. Fogel joined the administration of the Jewish Community of Berlin as IT System Administrator. In the Jewish Community of Berlin Mr. Fogel served as volunteer director for several integration projects, and has served for more than five years as a member of the community security organization. In 2008 he accepted his current position at Touro College Berlin as IT System Administrator, Software Engineer, and Head of Campus Security.
