Audris Umel has a Ph.D. degree in Psychology (with distinction) from the Bremen International Graduate School of Social Sciences (BIGSSS), a joint doctoral program by the University of Bremen and Constructor University (formerly Jacobs University), Germany. She also earned her Master’s in Psychology, concentration in Applied Social Psychology, and her Bachelor’s degrees in Economics and Development Studies from Ateneo de Manila University, Philippines.
She specializes in digital media and technology, participatory design, and qualitative methods. She has worked in project management, training, and consulting roles alongside her academic teaching and research involvements.
She will soon take up a Postdoctoral Fellow position at Constructor University, Bremen.
